These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Very Smooth Auto Glass website (verysmoothautoglass.com) and the auto glass repair and replacement services provided by Very Smooth Auto Glass ("we," "us," or "our"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms.

Services

Very Smooth Auto Glass provides mobile auto glass repair and replacement services throughout the Greater Sacramento Area. Our services include:

  • Windshield replacement
  • Windshield chip and crack repair
  • Side and back window replacement
  • Sunroof glass replacement
  • Insurance claims filing assistance
  • ADAS camera recalibration (when applicable)

All services are performed at your location by our mobile technicians. Service availability depends on scheduling, parts availability, and weather conditions.

Quotes and Pricing

Quotes provided through our website, phone, or text are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may vary based on:

  • Actual vehicle inspection at the time of service
  • Glass type required (OEM, OEE, or aftermarket)
  • Additional parts or moldings needed
  • ADAS recalibration requirements
  • Complexity of the installation

We will communicate any pricing changes before beginning work. You are not obligated to proceed if the final price differs from the initial quote.

Warranty

Very Smooth Auto Glass provides a lifetime warranty on workmanship for all auto glass installations. This warranty covers:

  • Leaks caused by improper installation
  • Wind noise resulting from installation defects
  • Adhesive failure or seal separation

The warranty does not cover:

  • New damage from road debris, accidents, or impacts
  • Damage caused by car washes, pressure washers, or improper cleaning within 48 hours of installation
  • Stress cracks from pre-existing frame damage
  • Modifications made to the vehicle or glass after installation

Insurance Claims

We assist customers with filing auto glass insurance claims as a convenience. Please understand:

  • We are not an insurance company or insurance agent
  • Insurance coverage and deductible amounts are determined solely by your insurance provider and policy
  • We cannot guarantee that your insurance will approve a claim or cover the full cost
  • You are ultimately responsible for any charges not covered by your insurance
  • We file claims on your behalf based on information you provide — accuracy of that information is your responsibility

Safe Drive-Away Time

After windshield installation, there is a minimum safe drive-away time (SDAT) that must be observed before driving the vehicle. Our technician will advise you of the specific time based on the adhesive used and current weather conditions. Driving before the recommended SDAT is at your own risk and may void the installation warranty.

Website Use

When using our website, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when submitting quote requests or contact forms
  • Not use the website for any unlawful purpose
  • Not attempt to interfere with the website's operation or security
  • Not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from website content without permission

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by California law:

  • Very Smooth Auto Glass is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services or website use
  • Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific service
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by parts availability, weather, or circumstances beyond our control

This limitation does not apply to damages that cannot be legally limited in California.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please contact us as soon as possible. There is no cancellation fee. We appreciate at least 2 hours notice so we can offer the time slot to another customer.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Placer County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
